Hey hey, I haven’t posted much in a while… Guess I had some great weekends 🙂 Two weekends ago I went shopping with one of my best friends Abigail. This weekend was my husband Geoffrey his birthday weekend! We had a lovely latin night in Mercado Antwerp, birthday cakes at home and restaurant lunch today. A weekend filled with eating, food, families & friends! I feel very happy! By the way, my mother in law has two Chihuahua puppies right now: Fleur & Féline. Welcome to the Chihuahua family 😉 Enjoy the pics!  Xoxo

New Year’s Resolutions

Find balance in your life. Work hard but don’t let work take over your life, you will lose yourself. Love, but love for the right reasons. Life is too short for anything mediocre. Know who you are and know that you are worthy of reaching your dreams and that it is never too late to start creating that life you have always dreamed of. Do not compare yourself to others, that’s just deadly. No two souls are the same. You are your own person, you are beautiful and you are unique. Put your trust in the universe. Some things are just meant to happen, and some are not. Let go of whatever is stealing your happiness, it’s hard but it is worth it. Embrace change. Embrace life. Everything happens for a reason, sometimes you just need to breath, trust and let go.

Briefly: What if you simply devoted this year to loving yourself more?

P.S.: this was are dining table for New Years eve with my parents & godmother. The first day of 2017, my godchild read her letter to. I was really proud because it was her first letter she actually read. The other years she knew it by heart. I’ve been lazy to post blogs because I’ve been so busy at work. It’s the most busy time of the year for us with the car exposition coming up next Thursday in Brussels.

Merry Christmas to everyone! In between family dinners we had time to sleep. We woke up at 10:30, had breakfast and jumped on the couch again. I love the holidays but the food comas make me feel so buh. Yesterday we had dinner at my husband’s auntie’s place. It was really cosy even though we don’t see each other that often. After this post I’ going to get ready for dinner at my mom and dad’s place.

As promised before, here are some photos from our Christmas tree.

Merry Christmas & a happy always! Don’t forget to unplug from social media when together with your precious beloved ones. Cease the moment.

Ho ho ho, oh not yet! Last weekend we’ve spent the evening with our friends Abigail & Jan. It has been a while that we spoke to each other so we had a lot to catch up on. There is nothing more cosy to do on winter evenings then to sit around the table with some great food & company.

The Mexican Dreamcatcher

img_9581-small

Hi sweeties,

I am so excited to tell you about my dream catcher. I bought it in Playa del Carmen in Mexico and I found it the perfect souvenir to remind me to the beautiful time from this summer. I’m also a very superstitious person who believes that all these legends and stories have to have some truth in it. Anyway this dream catcher got its perfect place in the corner of our all white bedroom. In the morning the sun hits the loop and it gives a magical reflection in our bedroom.

Here is some information about dream catchers:The dream catcher is hung above a sleeping area in a place where the morning light can hit it. The nature of the Dream Catcher will attract all sorts of dreams to its webs. When bad dreams come, they do not know the way through the web and get caught in the webbing where the first light of day causes them to melt away and perish. The good dreams knowing the way go through the center of the web and slide down the feather to the sleeper below.

I have also been taught that the web catches bad/unimportant dreams and allows the good/important dreams to come through the middle and slide down the feather into the sleeper’s head. Bad dreams are malicious in intent, or simply unimportant fleeting images. Bad dreams may be very disturbing, but still have a very important message for the dreamer, so that the dream catcher doesn’t necessarily get rid of bad dreams in the sense of nightmares, but bad dreams in the sense of distracting dreams that have no significance or meaning to the dreamer.

Hope you enjoyed!

Hi, my dear colleague/friend Daisy presented her home collection last Wednesday. I love the little things she carefully picked out for any interior. She has a love for natural products and she’s a vegetarian like me… well I’m more a flexitarian but hey we have the same goal! Haha

She has little olive soaps, scented candles, extroardinary glassware and then I didn’t even mention her trademark, the lovely sheep skin and pillows in different colours!

Every piece just fits in every interior and they perfectly upholster your house with natural beauty.

Go and visit her website and place your order!

Home is where the dog hair …

dogs-2-small

As you know we are proud owners of two chihuahuas. My oldest one is 6 years and is called Bisou. She is the light beige one and she is my favourite. The youngest is 2.5 years and her name is Cashmere. She has like a wolf kind of colour. She is the naughty one and the favourite of my husband.

Home is where the dog hair sticks to everything but the dog. I just finished cleaning our home. I have no idea what’s going on, but they loose so much hair! Oh my God, it’s terrible …

Enjoy the pics of our photogenic darlings!

Xoxo
