There is no statute of limitations on starting over. Re-invent yourself every day. Be the girl who walks barefoot and listens to the blues. Tomorrow, wear a trench coat and speak fierce truths. Be a phoenix. Be ashes. Burn down. Resurrect. Let go of the idea that you must always be who you have always been.
Hey hey… I’m starting to have routines in my life again. Since Spring is around the corner and sun is going down a little later, I realize that I have so much more energy. Spring is definitely my favorite season. Perhaps because I was born in April. I love how nature is awakening under the low first flares of sun and the dewy mornings. This morning I woke up and noticed that my skin is feeling good because of the sunbeams. Recently I had a microdermabrasion session & mesotherapy to get rid of that winterish dull skin tone. Its definitely a must-try to get your skin ready for the sun. Xoxo
Hey Loves, testing out my new work tool. I got myself an early Christmas gift, a MacBook Pro! Yass? I’m so happy! I was testing the edit tools for pictures and it did not let me down! I’m sure I’ll be swearing a lot by how to use this laptop (it is different to a windows laptop) but I am convinced it will help me to become a better blogger. I found some photos from the good old days last spring at a party with my family. I enjoy the picture of my godchild Milla. She’s half Cantonese – half Belgian and the pictures shows her cute tanned face and almond shaped eyes! With Christmas around the corner and the holidays in sight, I will try to post more blogs on these cosy days! Oh… I still have to show off my lovely Christmas tree! I will try to post it later this week! Now I’m off to bed and get some rest for the working week! It’s a short week. I took a day off on Wednesday to go to the hairdresser to colour my hair again. Sleep tight! Xoxo
When I saw on Facebook the post to photograph your pets for charity, I did not hesitate. Patsie Borgers started a charity to photograph your loved animals and to donate the money to ‘De warmste week’ on Qmusic. The money will go to the shelter dogs.
I must admit shooting our dogs wasn’t easy since they were the smallest dogs she photographed. It was a real challenge so it didn’t have to take too long, but I am more than happy with the results of our kids.
Enjoy the pictures.
P.S.: Patsie had an overload on requests to shoot your pets so she has put a stop to applications. Thanks for respecting this.
I am so excited to tell you about my dream catcher. I bought it in Playa del Carmen in Mexico and I found it the perfect souvenir to remind me to the beautiful time from this summer. I’m also a very superstitious person who believes that all these legends and stories have to have some truth in it. Anyway this dream catcher got its perfect place in the corner of our all white bedroom. In the morning the sun hits the loop and it gives a magical reflection in our bedroom.
Here is some information about dream catchers:The dream catcher is hung above a sleeping area in a place where the morning light can hit it. The nature of the Dream Catcher will attract all sorts of dreams to its webs. When bad dreams come, they do not know the way through the web and get caught in the webbing where the first light of day causes them to melt away and perish. The good dreams knowing the way go through the center of the web and slide down the feather to the sleeper below.
I have also been taught that the web catches bad/unimportant dreams and allows the good/important dreams to come through the middle and slide down the feather into the sleeper’s head. Bad dreams are malicious in intent, or simply unimportant fleeting images. Bad dreams may be very disturbing, but still have a very important message for the dreamer, so that the dream catcher doesn’t necessarily get rid of bad dreams in the sense of nightmares, but bad dreams in the sense of distracting dreams that have no significance or meaning to the dreamer.
Hi, my dear colleague/friend Daisy presented her home collection last Wednesday. I love the little things she carefully picked out for any interior. She has a love for natural products and she’s a vegetarian like me… well I’m more a flexitarian but hey we have the same goal! Haha
She has little olive soaps, scented candles, extroardinary glassware and then I didn’t even mention her trademark, the lovely sheep skin and pillows in different colours!
Every piece just fits in every interior and they perfectly upholster your house with natural beauty.
